About me.
My me is Robert. I was born, raised, and currently live in the Greater Pittsburgh area. I am currently 31 years old, married, and have one child; a 4 year old girl. I graduated from. Montour high school in 2004. I currently hold an Associates in Science degree in Network Security and Computer Forensics from Pittsburgh Technical Institute (now Pittsburgh Technical College) which I graduated from in 2008. I currently work for a large national bank on their ATM help desk. I have been at my current job since November of 2008. I am going nowhere where I am now and have finally decided to get my stuff together and make a better career and life for myself and my family. I am currently studying for the JNCIA-JUNOS and CCNA R&S certifications.
So, why am I starting this blog? Well, it's mostly to supplement my studies. I hear from many people that you should have something like a blog to solidify your knowledge and understanding of topics. It is said that you do not know something well enough until you can teach it to someone else. That is kind of what this blog is about, at least at this point in time.
I don't know how often I will be posting here. It may be once a week. It may be once a month. I may not post here after this. I am not a writer nor am I a blogger. I will try to post once a week, probably on either Saturday or Sunday. Since I will be using this as a study resource I will mostly be posting about topics I am currently studying.
I welcome and encourage any and all feedback, both good and bad; especially if I make any technical errors in any of my posts. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope this bloging journey will be a positive and rewarding one for everyone involved. I'll see you next time.
